In 2026, Castel Beau Site is honoured to receive the Green Key certification—an internationally recognised distinction that reflects our sincere commitment to more responsible tourism, with a strong focus on preserving natural resources and the surrounding biodiversity.
Developed in France by the association Teragir, the Green Key label recognises our concrete actions in support of sustainable development, including:
• A reduced environmental footprint, notably through the removal of the jacuzzi to limit water and energy consumption.
• A strong local commitment, with a partnership alongside LPO Île-Grande to support biodiversity protection.
• Improved energy efficiency, thanks to the transition to LED lighting throughout the property.
• The use of eco-responsible products, including environmentally friendly cleaning solutions such as Vapodil
Through these initiatives, Castel Beau Site continues to shape a more conscious approach to hospitality—where art de vivre naturally goes hand in hand with respect for the environment.
H8 Collection is committed to more sustainable tourism through the official environmental labelling process, in collaboration with Bettefly Tourisme and certified by ADEME.
In 2023, we are very proud to have obtained, for our hotel, a grade of B corresponding to the environmental impact of an overnight stay with breakfast.
This is calculated on 4 indicators: impact on the climate, water consumption, consumption of non-renewable resources (energy) and the proportion of organic or eco-labelled products in our supplies.
We are continuing our efforts with the very clear aim of achieving our hoped-for A grade.
