Taste Brittany on a plate

On the ground-floor of the hotel, the Castel Beau Site restaurant invites you to discover the most wonderful flavours of Breton cuisine. Savour chef Nicolas Le Luyer’s dishes as you gaze out at the sea, rose-tinted rocks and the towers of Costaérès Castle that you can just about make out on the island floating in front of the hotel.

The restaurant at Castel Beau Site has a name that stirs up memories, a nostalgia for traditional French cuisine that chef Nicolas Le Luyer makes it his point of honour to elevate. He and his brigade work behind the stoves to offer diners the very best culinary experience.

Here you will discover dishes inspired by the Breton and French traditions in a space that is chic but not stuffy as you gaze at the landscape that expands outwards. Married with intelligence and taste, the produce will overwhelm your palate with a veritable taste sensation.

Every evening from 7:30pm to 9pm.

A chef turned towards the sea

Born in Guingamp, Nicolas Le Luyer is Breton through-and-through. Since joining Castel in 2013, he has tirelessly showcased produce from his native region.

Trained at Saint-Quay-Portrieux and with experience in several restaurants in Trégor, he knows just where to find the very best produce from the land and the sea which he loves to work into and flaunt in his dishes.

The lunch

Chef Nicolas Le Luyer presents a light and fresh menu entirely composed of locally sourced produce so you can enjoy a simply yet tasty lunch. Salads, oysters from Trégor, cheeses from Bordier…

Served on the terrace or in the restaurant every lunchtime from 12pm to 2pm.

Closed Monday lunchtime from November 18 to December 16 2024.
For 2025: Closed Monday lunchtime and Tuesday lunchtime from February 3, 2025 to March 31, 2025 inclusive.

Bar & Lounge

RELAXING BY THE SEA

Whether you prefer a cocktail or a Viennese coffee, you’ll find what you’re looking for in our lounges.  Opposite reception, the bar is the ideal place to relax during the day or to work up an appetite. Sitting on pretty wicker chairs, your elbow resting on the wood, you can enjoy a relaxed drink while admiring the beach that stretches out at the foot of the hotel. The Castel bar, with its reserve of great Champagne vintages, is one of the largest wine cellars on the Pink Granite Coast.

But if you’re in the mood for a sweet treat, accompanied by a hot gourmet drink, the Goûter de Martin is just the place for you.
Make yourself comfortable on the huge sofas in our new library and take your time to savour the delicious creations of our pastry chef.
