From Saint-Guirec beach, located in front of the Castel Beau Site, kayak and paddleboard rentals offer a unique way to discover the Pink Granite Coast from the water. Paddling between pink granite rocks sculpted by millions of years of erosion reveals secret coves and inlets inaccessible by land. You have total independence and can set your own pace. Single and double paddleboards are available, as well as sea kayaks. The Perros-Guirec nautical center, a certified French Sailing School, also organizes guided excursions to the Ploumanac'h lighthouse, accompanied by qualified instructors. No prior experience is required, as the stability of the craft quickly puts even beginners at ease. Wetsuits and life jackets are, of course, provided. While not necessarily physically demanding, this is one of the best ways to explore the coastline and its hidden nooks. It is an unforgettable experience, best enjoyed at daybreak for calm seas and incredibly soft light.
